We install and maintain air conditioning systems throughout Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether we cover your location, get in touch and we’ll be happy to confirm.

We work with both domestic and commercial properties, from individual rooms and whole homes to offices, shops and other business premises.

Yes. We can discuss your requirements, assess the property and provide a clear quotation for the recommended system and installation.

Yes. Modern air conditioning systems are generally reversible heat pumps, providing efficient heating during colder weather as well as cooling in summer.

Modern inverter-driven systems can be very energy efficient. Actual running costs depend on the size of the space, the system installed, the temperature selected and how frequently it is used.

Modern systems are designed to operate very quietly. Indoor units can run at particularly low noise levels on their quietest settings, making them suitable for bedrooms and home offices.

Yes. We can assess an existing installation and advise whether servicing, modification, additional indoor units or replacement with a newer system would be appropriate.

A straightforward single-room installation can often be completed within a day. Multi-room and more complex systems may take several days. We’ll explain the expected timescale before work begins.

This depends on the room layout, airflow, access for pipework and the location of the outdoor unit. We’ll recommend positions that provide effective air distribution while keeping the installation as unobtrusive as possible.

Outdoor units are normally installed against an external wall or in another suitable well-ventilated location. We consider airflow, noise, access for maintenance and the visual impact when recommending a position.

Usually, yes. Split air conditioning systems require relatively small openings for refrigerant pipework, drainage and electrical connections between the indoor and outdoor equipment. These are sealed and finished as part of the installation.

That depends on the property and installation route. Where pipework cannot be concealed, it can normally be enclosed within neat external or internal trunking.

Many domestic installations can be carried out without a planning application, subject to applicable permitted-development rules and restrictions. Listed buildings, conservation areas and some properties may require additional consideration. We can discuss this with you during the survey.

We’ll establish the electrical requirements as part of the quotation and make clear what electrical work is included and whether any additional work is required.

Modern air conditioning systems use heat-pump technology and can deliver several units of heating or cooling for each unit of electricity consumed. Efficiency varies between models and operating conditions, so we’ll help you select an appropriately sized system.

Not necessarily. The most economical approach depends on the building, weather and how the space is used. Modern inverter systems automatically reduce their output as the room approaches the selected temperature.

For cooling, a moderate setting is normally more comfortable and economical than setting the system extremely cold. The ideal temperature is a matter of personal preference, but avoiding a large difference between indoor and outdoor temperatures can reduce energy consumption.

Potentially. Because reversible air conditioning operates as an air-to-air heat pump, it can provide highly efficient space heating. The financial saving will depend on what heating system it replaces, energy tariffs and how the property is used.

An inverter system continuously adjusts compressor output to match demand rather than repeatedly switching fully on and off. This can improve comfort, efficiency and temperature stability.

Keep filters clean, avoid unnecessarily extreme temperature settings, keep doors and windows closed while the system is operating and have the equipment maintained at appropriate intervals.

Yes. Regular maintenance helps keep the system clean, efficient and reliable and provides an opportunity to identify developing problems before they result in a breakdown.

For many domestic systems, annual servicing is a sensible starting point. Commercial installations or systems receiving heavier use may require more frequent maintenance.

A service typically includes checking and cleaning relevant components, inspecting filters and drainage, checking system operation and looking for signs of deterioration or faults. The exact work depends on the equipment installed.

Many indoor-unit filters are designed to be removed and cleaned by the user. Your manufacturer's instructions should explain how to do this safely. More extensive cleaning and maintenance should be undertaken by a suitably qualified engineer.

Reduced heating or cooling performance, unusual noises, unpleasant smells, water leakage, error codes or unexpectedly high energy consumption can all indicate that the system needs inspecting.

In many cases, yes. Contact us with the make, model and details of the problem and we can establish whether it is equipment we can inspect and maintain.

Yes. We can discuss regular maintenance arrangements for domestic and commercial systems based on the equipment and level of use.

Yes. Manufacturer warranties are available on the systems we install. The precise warranty period and conditions depend on the manufacturer and equipment selected.

This varies between manufacturers. It will generally cover qualifying equipment faults during the warranty period, subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

Manufacturers may specify maintenance requirements as a condition of their warranty. We'll explain the relevant requirements for the equipment we install.

Contact us first. We can establish whether the issue relates to the installation, maintenance or an equipment fault and advise you on the appropriate next step.

Yes. Where applicable, we'll provide or arrange the relevant information concerning your equipment and manufacturer warranty following installation.

Potentially, but you should check the terms of the existing warranty first. We can help identify the equipment and maintenance requirements before carrying out any work.

Yes. We provide air conditioning solutions for a range of commercial premises, including offices, shops and other workplaces.

We plan installations to minimise disruption wherever practicable. Depending on the project, work can be phased or scheduled around the way your premises operate.

It depends on the size and layout of the building, occupancy levels and how individual spaces are used. Options can include wall-mounted, cassette and multi-split systems. We’ll recommend a solution after assessing the premises.

Yes. Many multi-room installations provide independent control of individual indoor units or zones, allowing different areas to be operated according to their requirements.

Yes. We can provide planned servicing and maintenance appropriate to the equipment, usage and requirements of the premises.

There can be. Requirements vary according to the type, size and refrigerant charge of the equipment and the nature of the premises. We can advise on the requirements relevant to the system we install or maintain.

Yes. We can assess existing equipment and recommend replacement or upgrade options, taking account of performance, energy efficiency, refrigerant, controls and the practicalities of reusing or replacing existing infrastructure.
